Friday the 7th of august I worked as part of a team on a product launch project which was based in a cold storage building where temperatures idled at -22 degrees celcius.
We had many variables to deal with, such as battery drain from the cold across all equipment.
We had to leave all equipment that we used throughout the day in the cold store while we took frequent breaks (apart from the batteries that needed to be addressed).
For me personally the Star of the show was the DJI Rs2 and the Sony camera rig, aswell as the lighting from Fomex, the fact that this equipment survived without hesitation was massively impressive.
The inside of the cold store had 0 moisture, so everything we had take out after finishing shooting, immediately frosted over.
It was definitely an experience, and very much unknown ground for myself, but the team did an amazing job.
